'TEARS OF STONE' Film – A New Project by Estherleon Schwartz and Ivor Pyres
The creators of the 'Songs of the Prophets' teamed up to bring the book, "Tears of Stone... and my Deal with God," to the screen.
The book, written by Estherleon, is her memoir and it begins in France during a World War II air raid. From there, the reader, like the viewer, is taken on a wild ride of life culmulating in the fulfillment of her 'deal with God.'
War, immigration, bullying, hate, poverty, unexpected fortune, family dynamics, cloaked truths and more are found in Estherleon's life story and it is up to director Ivor
Pyres to weave her tale in a way that offsets the raw side of life. As Estherleon would tells it, she is brief and to-the-point: "It's all good, kookie. It's all good."
